Tatum Highlands is located between Tatum Boulevard to the east and 40th Street to the west, and north and south of Jomax Road. The schools assigned to this area are Wildfire Elementary School, Explorer Middle School and Pinnacle High School. All of these schools are A rated. The homes in Tatum Ridge north of Jomax Road, and the homes in Diamond Creek, are served by the Cave Creek Unified School District. The assigned schools are Horseshoe Trails Elementary School, Desert Sun Academy, Sonoran Trails Middle School and Cactus Shadows High School.
