Del Webb built these homes starting in 1998, and completed the development in 2001. These luxury homes feature a wide variety of floorplans and square footage. While each home has a minimum of two bedrooms and two bathrooms, the homes do range in size from 1,394 to 3,387 square feet. Some residents have converted dens or covered patios to an additional bedroom.

Bellasera features several fantastic amenities: First, the community is home to a 5,000 square foot clubhouse. Within the clubhouse is a very well-equipped fitness center, with treadmills, circuit training stations, stationary bicycles and free weights. The fitness center also hosts various exercise classes, such as water aerobics, and also features a jogging path near the pool and spa. Walkers can enjoy 8 miles of paths throughout the community, as well as a spacious lawn area for various outdoor activities. One lighted basketball court and two lighted tennis courts are located near the clubhouse.

The community pool showcases a lap and lagoon design, with part of the pool sectioned off for lap swimming, and the other part of the pool features a shallow depth for lounging and visiting, thanks to its beach entry. Bellasera is also home to a 10,800 square foot, landscaped, fenced and lighted dog park. With a double gated entry system and plenty of seating, those with four-legged furry friends will enjoy hanging out in this picturesque setting.

Residents of Bellasera can participate in the social activities organized by other residents including luncheons and dinners at the clubhouse, poker and bridge nights, book clubs, and hiking clubs, among other activities. Every homeowner is a member of the Bellasera Community Association. The quarterly association fees include use of all amenities, maintenance of common areas and community streets, and the services provided by the gate security personnel.

Things To Do: Entertainment, dining and shopping options abound along Scottsdale Road, from The Summit at Scottsdale to El Pedregal. Further south are the outdoor shopping malls of Kierland Commons, Scottsdale Quarter, The Shops at Zocallo, and the Promenade Shopping Center. Pinnacle Peak Park and its 3.5 mile round trip trail is a popular option with both fitness and nature enthusiasts. The McDowell Sonoran Preserve and its trailheads for popular hikes such as Tom’s Thumb, Brown’s Ranch and Fraesfield are adjacent to this area. Golfing options in this area of North Scottsdale include the Whisper Rock Golf Club and the Terravita Golf and Country Club.

Schools: The Cave Creek Unified School District serves this area, from Horseshoe Trails Elementary and Desert Sun Academy to Sonoran Trails Middle School and Cactus Shadows High School.
